Eventuri Black Carbon Headlamp Race Duct for 8V Audi RS3

As the RS3 continues to prove itself on track, Eventuri has developed a complementary headlamp duct to unlock further performance. Replacing the OEM headlamp, the duct seals to the Eventuri RS3 intake to create a true ram-air configuration with a direct, cold-air feed to the filter. It follows the factory lamp contours and incorporates two carbon air guides to channel flow efficiently, while surface vents on the perpendicular face mitigate drag. Validated at over 190 mph, the design delivers a net advantage in lap times. By substituting the stock engine-bay intake duct at the slam panel, it also leaves that area open to enhance overall engine cooling as vehicle speed forces ambient air through the grille and factory openings. The result is the most direct cold-air path available, significantly reducing heat soak and stabilizing performance over sustained track sessions.

Carbon Headlamp Duct

• Eventuri’s headlamp duct delivers a direct cold-air feed to the filter, using two internal vanes to guide airflow smoothly into the secondary connecting duct. Pre-preg carbon construction provides rigidity, while stainless-steel brackets lock the assembly in place even beyond 190 mph. Drag is minimized with reliefs on the face perpendicular to oncoming flow, and sealing the connector to the intake creates a true ram-air effect that de-restricts the path and drives intake temperatures as low as possible within a fully sealed design. Because this component replaces the engine-bay intake duct, the stock area behind the grille remains open, allowing additional cooling air to wash over the inlet manifold. The combined reduction in IATs and improved under-hood cooling helps maintain consistent lap times by minimizing heat soak.

Connecting Duct

• Eventuri’s connecting duct seals the headlamp duct directly to the intake face. A surrounding rubber gasket accommodates engine movement while maintaining an airtight junction, preventing ingestion of engine-bay heat. Constructed from pre-preg carbon, the duct is both highly functional and visually elevates the engine bay.
