This Endless Racing 4 Rear Performance Brake System for Acura NSX is designed to provide superior braking performance and increased stopping power. The kit includes all the components needed to upgrade your existing braking system. The kit includes 4–piston calipers and three–piece rotors, both of which are made from high–quality forged aluminum for superior strength and durability. Additionally, the kit includes high–grade stainless steel braided brake lines for improved response and superior brake feel. This kit also features performance brake pads for improved braking performance, and all the necessary hardware for easy installation. With this system, you can enjoy improved braking performance and increased stopping power for your Acura NSX. The Endless Racing 4 is optimized when combined with the 6POT and 6POT Wagon front brake caliper systems, resulting in ideal braking balance. Crafted from lightweight and robust forged aluminum, these calipers are exceptionally strong and resistant to heat, making them ideal for circuit racing.

Blue Anodized Finish

• When raw aluminum is exposed to oxygen in the atmosphere, a thin coating of aluminum oxide forms, stopping the aluminum from deteriorating any further. This process is known as oxidation, similar to the rusting of metals. The anodizing process takes advantage of this natural occurrence, and then increases its strength to create a very durable protective layer. This finish is much more practical for use on racetracks, as it creates a uniform layer that is much more resistant to abrasion than paint or powder coating.

Special Heat Treatment Process

• The rotor was given a pre–treatment to reinforce its components in order to reduce the risk of heat cracks when being driven at high speeds. This extended the expected life of the rotor, providing more assurance when using it over a long period of time. This was done as otherwise, the rotor‘s surface may expand and contract due to the accumulation of heat, which may cause small cracks.

About Bedding

• Before using a circuit–dedicated pad that is designed to be high–temperature resistant, it is necessary to preform the process of ‘bedding‘ which includes applying heat to fully maximize its original performance.
• Competing in the most prestigious motorsport leagues, such as SUPER GT, WRC and other European series, is a sign of a professional racing driver‘s success.
• Before using semi–metallic brake pads, it is important to follow the correct “bedding–in“ procedure to guarantee optimal performance when the temperatures are high and extend the lifespan of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When beginning to use a new part in a circuit, make sure to heat the rotor to a temperature between 400–500° C, and abstain from any rapid slowing down. When that is accomplished, you can then add the atari and let the rotor cool to a temperature of 100° C or less, completing the procedure.
