About Bedding

• In order to achieve the best results, a practice called ‘bedding‘ must be carried out on certain pads that have been made to withstand high temperatures. Before undergoing intense driving, it is necessary to heat the pads to make sure that the level of impact is raised.
• Competing in the most prestigious of Bedding rankings is often seen in the highest levels of SUPER GT, WRC, and other European events.
• It is imperative to adhere to the proper bedding process prior to installing semi–metallic brake pads in order to ensure the system performs optimally under intense heat and to extend the life of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When using a vehicle that is equipped with the new product, the rotors should be heated to a temperature ranging between 400–500°C. Make sure to avoid hard braking, and add atari when necessary. When the temperature eventually drops down to 100°C or lower, the process is finished.

Notes

• Under optimal conditions, the brake pads will perform best when bedding in. It is not recommended to attempt to bed the brakes in when it is raining as the performance may not be as expected. Whenever possible, bedding should be done in dry and favorable weather.
