About Bedding

• To ensure the best possible performance, it is important for a process known as bedding to be completed on circuit–dedicated pads that are designed to endure extreme heat. This process requires the pads to be heated prior to intense driving to guarantee a greater effect.
• Competing in the highest levels of SUPER GT, WRC, and other races in Europe is regularly seen in the uppermost divisions of Bedding classifications.
• Before installing semi–metallic brake pads, it is essential that the appropriate bedding procedure is carried out to ensure efficient and durable high–temperature performance, as well as expand the lifespan of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • While driving on a course with a newly installed product, the rotor temperature should be increased to 400–500°C while avoiding hard braking, and atari should be included. After the temperature rises to the desired level, it should naturally decrease to 100°C or below, marking the completion of the procedure.
