About Bedding

• For optimal results, a procedure known as ‘bedding‘ must be executed on circuit–specific pads designed to tolerate high temperatures. This process requires the heating of the pads prior to intense driving to guarantee an increased level of impact.

• Before fitting semi–metallic brake pads, it is essential to follow the correct bedding process to ensure the pads and rotors operate correctly under high temperatures and to extend their life.
• How to Bed:
  • When operating a vehicle equipped with the new product, the temperature of the rotor should be increased to 400–500°C, while avoiding hard braking, and atari should be added. When the temperature then naturally drops to 100°C or less, the process is complete.
