Blue Anodized Finish

• When raw aluminum is exposed to oxygen, it creates a thin film of oxide on its surface known as oxidation; this is similar to rusting. Anodizing goes a step further and creates a much stronger and impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. “E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

About Bedding

• The best way to get the most out of circuit–specific pads that are capable of withstanding extremely high temperatures is to use a process known as ‘bedding‘. To ensure the pads are not affected by excessive heat, preheating must be completed prior to hard–driving.
• In order to compete at the highest levels in motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and a select few races in Europe, it is necessary to properly bed the vehicle.
• Prior to utilizing semi–metallic brake pads, it is critical to execute a correct bedding–in method to guarantee the most extreme execution at high temperatures and broaden the life expectancy of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When incorporating a new product into a circuit, you must heat the rotor to a temperature ranging from 400–500° C being sure to not apply too much force. Once done, you can then incorporate atari and then let the rotor cool down to a temperature of 100° C or less to complete the process.
