Blue Anodized Finish

• Raw aluminum, when it comes into contact with oxygen, forms a layer of oxide on its surface which is commonly known as oxidation. This reaction is similar to the oxidation that happens in the form of rust, however it is taken a step further in the process of anodizing. During this process, an even more hard–wearing and impermeable layer of aluminum oxide is formed on the surface. About Bedding

• To fully capitalize on the characteristics of heat–resistant circuit–specific pads, a technique called ‘bedding‘ needs to be employed. This necessitates reheating in advance of hard–driving to ensure that the pads will not be adversely affected by high temperatures.
• Competitions in motorsports of the highest quality, such as SUPER GT, WRC and some European races, all require bedding.
• Prior to fitting semi–metallic brake pads, it is necessary to go through a proper bedding–in procedure so that the best performance can be obtained when the brakes are operating at high temperatures, and to maximize the lifespan of both the brake pads and the rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • To utilize a new product on a circuit, you should heat the rotor to a range of 400–500° C, being mindful not to apply too much pressure. Subsequently, you may put on the atari and let the rotor drop to a temperature of 100° C or less to conclude the procedure.
