Blue Anodized Finish

• When aluminum is left exposed to the air, a process referred to as oxidation causes a protective film to form on its surface. This is akin to rust, yet the anodizing procedure takes it a step further. Anodizing produces an even tougher, impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. This abrasion–resistant coating makes it the ideal choice for use on the racetrack.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The E–Slit Rotor is highly impressive due to the combination of its curved long slit and the “E“ slit on the top. The dual shading effect of the long and “E“ slits ensures that the pad remains in excellent condition. The long slit provides a gentler pad sculpting while the “E“ slit offers additional braking force, thereby improving its overall efficiency. Special Heat Treatment Process

• Over time, heavy use of a rotor can result in the expansion and contraction of its surface due to the accumulation of heat, potentially causing heat cracks. To reduce the likelihood of such damage, a pre–treatment was applied to the rotor components, enhancing their durability and increasing the lifespan of the rotor. This allows it to be used with less concern over a longer period of time.

About Bedding

• It is important to utilize the process of ‘bedding‘ to unlock the full potential of circuit–specific pads that are made to perform well in hot temperatures. This process requires preheating before hard–driving, so that the pads will not suffer from any extreme temperatures.
• Competitions at the highest level of motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and a number of European races, all necessitate bedding.
• Before using semi–metallic brake pads, it is essential to carry out the appropriate bedding–in process in order to guarantee ideal functioning at high temperatures and enhance the longevity of both the brake pads and rotors. This bedding–in process is a mandatory requirement for the highest level of races in motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, as well as a few European races.
• How to Bed:
  • When using a new product on a circuit, ensure to warm the rotor up to a temperature of 400–500° C and be cautious to not put too much strain on it when stopping. After successfully doing this, you can add atari and let the rotor naturally cool until it reaches a temperature of 100° C or less, thereby concluding the process.
