“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The remarkable performance of the E–Slit Rotor is due to its combination of a long slit that forms curves and an “E“ slit on the top. The two slits cooperate to keep the pad in the best condition and create a two–tone effect. The long slit provides a delicate pad carving while the “E“ slit adds additional braking power, leading to enhanced performance. When the long slit is no longer visible on the rotor side and the letter “E“ cannot be seen, it is time to switch out the rotor.

Special Heat Treatment Process

• Because of the high temperatures created by extended and strenuous operation, a rotor can expand and contract, potentially leading to heat cracks. To reduce the likelihood of heat cracks from intensive driving, a pre–treatment was executed to reinforce the rotor parts, thus raising the rotor‘s expected life span and permitting it to be used for a longer period with minimal concern.

About Bedding

• Maximizing the utilization of ‘bedding‘ is essential for circuit–specific pads that are designed to perform in hot temperatures. Preheating must take place prior to hard–driving in order to avoid any destructive consequences caused by extreme temperatures.
• In order to compete in the most esteemed forms of motor racing, drivers must have a vehicle that is properly configured for the specific event, such as SUPER GT, WRC, or some European competitions.
• It is important to follow the correct bedding–in procedure before utilizing semi–metallic brake pads, particularly in high temperature conditions, in order to attain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When introducing a new product to a circuit, it is important to preheat the rotor to a temperature range between 400–500° C and to be careful when decelerating to prevent too much pressure. Once that is done, add atari and allow the rotor to cool down to a temperature of 100° C or less to finish the process.
