Special Heat Treatment Process

About Bedding

• It is essential to maximize the utilization of bedding in order to ensure the effectiveness of circuit–specific pads that have been designed to work in hot temperatures. Preheating must occur prior to hard–driving so as to avoid any damage caused by extreme temperatures.
• Competitors taking part in the most esteemed forms of motor racing, such as SUPER GT, WRC and some European events, must have an appropriate car configuration.
• It is critical to follow the proper bedding–in method prior to utilizing semi–metallic brake pads, particularly in hot climates, to ensure the highest performance and lengthen the lifespan of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • Before introducing a new product to the circuit, it is important to preheat the rotor to a temperature between 400 and 500° C. When braking, care should be taken to ensure that there is not too much pressure. Afterwards, add atari and allow the rotor to cool down to a temperature of 100° C or less to finish the process.
