• When raw aluminum is exposed to oxygen, the resulting oxide film on its surface, which is referred to as oxidation, is similar to rusting. However, anodizing is further beneficial in that it creates a hard and impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. This resistance coat makes anodizing ideal for surfaces that see a lot of wear and tear, such as racetrack surfaces.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

Special Heat Treatment Process

About Bedding

• To make the most of circuit–specific pads that can operate at high temperatures, preheating is needed before hard–driving through a process called ‘bedding‘. This helps make sure that the pads are not affected too much by extreme temperatures.

• Prior to putting on semi–metallic brake pads, it is crucial to do a proper bedding–in process in order to guarantee optimal performance in elevated temperatures and lengthen the life of the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When utilizing a fresh product on a circuit, the rotor must be heated up to a range of 400–500° C, being careful to avoid harsh braking. After that, Atari is able to be added, followed by allowing the rotor to drop to a temperature of 100° C or cooler to complete the process.
