Blue Anodized Finish

• When aluminum is left exposed to the air, it develops a protective coating known as oxidation, which is analogous to rust. Anodizing, however, takes this a step further and creates an even tougher, impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. “E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The E–Slit Rotor is very impressive due to the combination of the long slit which produces curves and the ‘E‘ slit on the top. The dual shading effect of the long and ‘E‘ slits helps to keep the pad in good condition. The long slit provides a softer sculpting of the pad and the ‘E‘ slit provides extra strength to the braking, enhancing its effectiveness. It is time to replace the rotor when the long slit on the rotor side has faded away and the letter ‘E‘ is no longer visible.

Special Heat Treatment Process

• A pre–treatment was applied to the rotor in order to make it more resistant to the heat build–up caused by extended periods of heavy use, thus reducing the likelihood of heat cracks developing. About Bedding

• In order to bring out the full potential of circuit–specialized pads that are designed to work well in high temperatures, it is necessary to utilize a process called ‘bedding.’ This includes preheating the pads prior to hard–driving them so that they are not significantly impacted by extreme temperatures.
• Competing in the uppermost echelons of motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and other European races, necessitates bedding.
• Before using semi–metallic brake pads, it is important to carry out an appropriate bedding–in procedure to guarantee the best performance under high temperatures and to increase the life span of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When working with a new product on a circuit, heat the rotor up to 400–500° C and be careful to avoid hard braking. After that, you can add atari and let the rotor chill until it reaches a temperature of 100° C or less, thus ending the process.
