The do88 Performance Intercooler Pipe Kit for the 992.1 Porsche 911 Carrera and Turbo models, provides a true upgrade over the OE hoses. Featuring mandrel-bent 63 mm (2.5”) aluminum piping, this kit improves airflow and offers long-lasting durability. The pipes are finished with a sleek matte black powder coating for a premium look. The kit also includes matte black silicone hoses, with turbo outlet hoses made from high-temperature material capable of withstanding up to 240°C continuous heat. Equipped with “constant tension” hose clamps, the system compensates for material expansion and contraction, ensuring reliability and optimal performance under varying conditions.

Engineering

• Using 3D scanning to create a precise 3D model in a CAD environment allows for extensive optimization of product design. With the car’s structure as a foundation, the piping and hoses were refined repeatedly, adjusting radiuses and angles until no further improvement was possible. This scientific approach, combined with the flexibility provided by 3D scanning, enables instant verification of airflow and performance during development. The result is a product that surpasses the airflow capabilities of the OE pipework, enhances aesthetics, and offers significantly greater durability over time compared to the original hoses.
