Design and Engineering

• CSF is renowned for producing top-quality cooling systems for the A9X Supra and BMW G-Series, particularly excelling within the B58 community. With extensive feedback from customers, race teams, and development partners, CSF has built unmatched expertise in B58 cooling. As more enthusiasts push the limits of the Supra, the factory radiator has revealed its limitations—larger turbos generating more power lead to significantly higher heat levels requiring effective dissipation. Additionally, with the heat exchanger positioned directly in front of the radiator, heat from the charge air system flows directly over it, a challenge in racing applications where elevated coolant temperatures can risk triggering limp mode. Many Supras are also reaching an age where wear and tear call for replacements. CSF began developing its Supra radiator over a year ago, conducting rigorous race testing with Titan Motorsports and Studio RSR. To deliver peak performance, CSF incorporated its latest 5mm fin cooling technology, which increases the heat transfer area by 20-25% over conventional radiators.

CSF VS OEM

• The original OE radiator from Toyota/BMW uses a plastic tank and single-row aluminum core design. While generally regarded as durable, it leaves room for improvement. The OE radiator’s 4mm fins provided reasonable efficiency for a factory unit, but its 34mm thickness and single cooling row limited performance. With data from development partners and race teams, CSF designed an ideal high-performance replacement. The CSF radiator features advanced 5mm fin technology, expanding the heat exchange surface area for improved cooling efficiency and faster recovery, while maintaining excellent airflow. Its larger, 2-row 42mm aluminum core increases fluid capacity and enhances heat dissipation. CSF’s exclusive B-Tube technology boosts heat transfer by approximately 15% over conventional oval tubes, while multi-louvered fins further maximize airflow. Constructed from TIG-welded 100% aluminum, this radiator offers superior strength, durability, and longevity, performing reliably under intense driving conditions. It mounts directly in the factory location with no modifications needed.
