The CSF R33 Skyline Radiator is a high-performance, all-aluminum replacement radiator built for the R33 Skyline GT-R and GTS, and the R34 Skyline GT-T, finished in satin black. The inline-six engines in these Skylines, from the basic RB20 up through the legendary RB26, are known for reliability, but the extra heat that comes with power upgrades pushes the factory radiator to its limit. Design and Engineering

The inline-six motors in the R33 and R34 Skylines are built to handle serious power, but more power means more heat. While the factory radiator manages heat adequately in stock form, a CSF R33 Skyline radiator gives the cooling system extra headroom, which matters most once the engine is making real power upgrades.

CSF B-Tube Technology

Unlike a standard oval “O” shaped tube, CSF’s B-Tube design uses a specially engineered tube shaped like a “B,” formed and brazed over the seam to seal. This shape increases the heat transfer surface area by approximately 15% over regular tubes, giving the effect of two smaller tubes working in the same space as one larger tube and allowing dual liquid laminar flow. It also lets CSF use thinner, lighter aluminum without sacrificing strength compared to standard welded “O” tubes. Multi-louvered fins are precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the core, with fin specifications calculated per application and validated in CSF’s wind tunnel lab.

Construction

Each end tank is built from high-grade aluminum for strength and durability, with TIG-welded construction adding further strength over the factory’s plastic tanks and crimped gasket seal. The top end tank includes a pre-plugged 1/8th NPT port, and the bottom end tank includes an M16 x 1.5P port, both for temperature sensors. Every radiator ships with a 1.4 bar high pressure cap featuring an embossed CSF logo, which raises the coolant’s boiling point for extra protection against boilover at high operating temperatures.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
