Ford Raptor-Specific Features

Auto Start-Stop Adjustment
- A common complaint with the Raptor was the bothersome auto start / stop setting. There was no easy way to turn it off and keep it off with subsequent key cycles. The auto start-stop feature accomplishes just that! With this feature, the user can enable/disable auto start-stop, and the setting will be retained even after the vehicle is turned off. To use this feature, go to “tune” > “adjustments” > “auto start-stop” > and then select “1” if you want it to be enabled or “0” to disable.
Fuel Pump Control
- This function grants control over the in-tank fuel pump, providing practical utility for tasks such as fuel tank drainage to switch fuel types, depressurizing the fuel system for injector changes, or addressing other fuel tank-related needs. To activate this feature, follow the Accessport steps outlined below. With the engine running, adjust the value to -1, effectively deactivating the fuel pump. As fuel pressure reaches its lowest point, the engine will shut down automatically. At this point, you can safely disconnect the fuel line and direct it to an appropriate container. To resume fuel tank drainage, simply switch the key to ON and set the value to 1, reactivating the fuel pump and facilitating the emptying of the fuel tank.
Valet Mode
- Valet mode can be used to reduce maximum power output by limiting throttle to about 25%. A value of 1 will enable valet mode. A value of 0 will return to normal. This setting will be retained even through key cycles and does not require changing maps
Dynamic Pedal Control
- This function provides the ability to adjust the accelerator pedal response, either enhancing or reducing its sensitivity. Users can select values ranging from -5 to 10 for customization. Each step from 0 to -5 results in a 20% reduction in pedal response, which can be advantageous for those looking to limit power output or improve fuel efficiency. Conversely, each increment from 0 to 10 increases pedal response by 10%, creating a sensation of increased acceleration as the throttle opens more readily with less pedal input. The graphical representation below illustrates the relationship between throttle pedal input (x-axis) and the extent to which the throttle body opens (y-axis) for each setting. Additionally, the Accessport pathway for adjusting this setting is displayed for user reference.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
