COBB Tuning V3 Accessport for FK8 Honda Civic Type R

COBB presents the Accessport for the FK8 Type R, offering straightforward ECU flashing coupled with a gauge package. The cabin-mountable Accessport V3 features a large, full-color, high-resolution screen that can display up to six parameters in real time. The device is fully customizable, with options for appearance (a selection of bezel colors), layout (configurations for race, street, or dyno gauge clusters), and mounting solutions (compatible with thousands of standard vehicle mounts). But aesthetics are not its only merit; the Accessport boasts increased processing power, memory, and storage capacities, enabling quicker flashing while accommodating all your map and log files. This device is poised to be the new go-to Accessport.

Tuning Stages

Included in COBB Tuning’s Accessport, which is also accessible for download on their website, are the COBB Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps. These calibration files are the creation of the COBB Calibration Team and are intended for use with stock vehicles. Safe for use with these OTS Maps are components like aftermarket air filters designed for the original airbox and exhaust components compatible with the OEM catalytic converters. The Stage “0” map maintains the factory calibration data, hence it does not enhance power. However, it does enable the utilization of all Accessport functions, including data monitoring and logging
COBB Tuning’s Stage 1 files are designed to capitalize on the untapped potential of Honda vehicles. By elevating boost pressure and implementing more assertive timing and fueling strategies, among other enhancements, they succeed in markedly boosting both the low-end torque and high-end power of the vehicle

Installation can be completed in a mere 20 minutes, easily conducted within the convenience of a personal garage or driveway. One needs only to connect the provided OBDII cable to the OBDII port of their Civic Type R and adhere to the straightforward on-screen instructions. Owners of 2020-2021 models need not be concerned, as they have the capability to carry out the ECU “jailbreak” with the COBB Unlock Box, which is a standard inclusion in every Accessport kit

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
