The Redline Carbon Intake blends performance and aesthetics to deliver a premium solution for Honda and Acura applications. Constructed from 2×2 twill carbon with a high-gloss clearcoat, it makes a striking visual statement in the engine bay.

Construction

The main airbox is built from multiple layers of 2×2 twill carbon, creating a true carbon intake with a high-gloss clearcoat for heat and UV fade resistance. A bespoke black Redline badge accents the front of the integrated duct, while a billet knob allows quick removal of the lid for service. Incoming air passes through a large, pre-oiled filter into the MAF housing, which mounts to the airbox via a black-anodized billet aluminum adapter. A wire-reinforced black silicone coupler, secured with black-anodized clamps at both ends, completes a clean, high-end installation.

Velocity Stack MAF Housing

This intake system incorporates purpose-built features to preserve optimal flow while minimizing turbulence. A CFD-developed velocity stack and an airflow-straightener grid smooth incoming air across the MAF sensor for precise measurement, while the one-piece, high-temperature plastic composite construction reduces weight and heat transfer. The COBB MAF housing increases cross-section by 36% over stock to accommodate greater airflow.

Installation

Installation of the Redline Intake is straightforward for an intake with an integrated airbox and scoop. By following the detailed instructions to fit the supplied brackets, the entire assembly drops in within minutes, and once installed, servicing the intake air filter remains simple.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
