Which parts make up the Gen2 Stage 1+ Power Package?

The Gen2 Stage 1+ Power Package contains the MAZDASPEED Accessport V3, part AP3-MAZ-002, the SF Intake System, part 771550, the Gen2 Airbox, part 772160, the Turbo Inlet Hose, part 771001, the Fuel Pump Internals, part 371100, and the Ford and Mazda Rear Motor Mount, part 891010.

Does this package fit the world market Mazda3 MPS?

Yes. Alongside the US market Mazdaspeed3 from 2010 through 2013, the COBB Confirmed Applications list names the world market Mazda3 MPS and Mazdaspeed Axela from 2010 through 2012. Owners of those cars should match their build year against that list before ordering.

Is a custom tune required with this package?

No. The Accessport V3 in this bundle comes with COBB Off The Shelf maps, so the package can be installed and flashed without booking a tuner. A custom tune from a COBB Protuner becomes the route only when the car gains modifications beyond the parts in this box.

Can this package be used on a California registered car?

Yes. COBB lists CARB Executive Order D-660-98 for the package, which makes it legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states. The installation must follow the COBB application guide for the second generation Mazdaspeed3 for that approval to apply.

Can I pick the color of the intake?

Yes. COBB makes both the SF Intake System and the Turbo Inlet Hose in COBB Blue and in Stealth Black, and the Stage 1+ package offers a choice between the two. The remaining parts, including the Gen2 Airbox and the Rear Motor Mount, are not offered in color options.

Description

COBB Tuning Gen2 Stage 1+ Power Package for BL Mazda Mazdaspeed3

COBB Tuning’s Gen2 Stage 1+ Power Package equips the 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed3 with Accessport V3 tuning, the SF Intake with the Gen2 Airbox, a Turbo Inlet Hose, upgraded high pressure fuel pump internals and the Rear Motor Mount. COBB backs the bundle with CARB EO D-660-98, so a BL hatch running it remains legal in all 50 states. Buy it if the car is going to carry these bolt-ons anyway, since the parts arrive as a matched set; a tighter budget is better spent on the Gen2 Stage 1 package.

Construction

The SF Intake body is a composite moulding chosen because it saves weight, reduces heat transfer and resists deformation as underhood temperatures swing. A CFD-designed velocity stack and airflow straightener grid smooth the air across the Mass Air Flow sensor for precise readings, and the filter arrives pre-oiled. In the Gen2 Stage 1+ Power Package that intake feeds the Gen2 Airbox and a COBB Turbo Inlet Hose shaped for flow into the turbocharger.

Features

Accessport V3 with a full color screen and customizable race, street or dyno gauge layouts
Composite SF Intake body with integrated velocity stack and airflow straighteners
SF Intake and Turbo Inlet Hose available in COBB Blue or Stealth Black
Autotech high pressure fuel pump internals
Rear Motor Mount for reduced wheel hop

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
