What comes in the Fuel Pressure Power Package NIS-006?

The Fuel Pressure Power Package NIS-006 contains eight items: the AP3-NIS-006 Accessport V3 with TCM flashing, the aluminum Big SF Intake System, a High Flow Fuel Pump Kit, the CAN Gateway Module with its Harness and Bracket Kit, the CAN Gateway Flex Fuel Kit, the Fuel Pressure Monitoring Kit and a COBB vehicle badge.

Is this package street legal in California?

No. COBB states it is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission controlled motor vehicle while CARB testing is pending. Elsewhere, COBB cites SEMA Garage Emissions Certification SC-COB01-0086 under the EPA Anti-Tampering Policy for on-street sale.

Can I run E85 straight away after installing it?

Only with the right calibration. The hardware reads ethanol content and fuel pressure, but the ECU must run a flex fuel enabled map, either a COBB Off-The-Shelf map that supports it or a custom tune from a COBB tuner, before ethanol blends are used.

How does it differ from the Redline version?

Fuel pump, CAN Gateway, flex fuel and pressure monitoring parts are identical. This version uses the aluminum Big SF Intake with mandrel bent, wrinkle black tubing, while the Redline package swaps in hand-laid carbon tubing, so the decision comes down to finish and budget.

Which R35 model years does it fit?

COBB confirms USDM GT-R cars from 2009 to 2014 and JDM cars from 2008 to 2013. ADM, East Asia, EDM, Gulf Spec and South Africa cars are covered from 2009 to 2013, along with Vspec and Vspec Race models from the 2009 and 2010 model years.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 1+ CAN Flex Fuel and Fuel Pressure Power Package NIS-006 with TCM Flashing for R35 Nissan GT-R

COBB Tuning’s Fuel Pressure Power Package NIS-006 prepares a 2009-2014 R35 GT-R for ethanol in one order. The AP3-NIS-006 Accessport V3 calibrates both the engine and the transmission, the aluminum Big SF Intake gives the MAF sensors room to read as airflow grows, and a High Flow Fuel Pump Kit works with the CAN Gateway, its flex fuel kit and a fuel pressure monitoring kit. It suits an owner with steady E85 access who prefers powdercoated metal to carbon. On pump fuel alone, the Gateway hardware adds little, and the 50-state legal carbon package is the simpler choice.

Features

Mandrel bent 3.0 inch aluminum Big SF tubing in a wrinkle black powdercoat finish
The Fuel Pressure Power Package NIS-006 reports live fuel pressure through the CAN Gateway
Gateway passes ethanol content to the ECU as data, leaving the factory sensors untouched
Accessport reflashes the TCM for launch control, gear learning and clutch adjustments
Stores up to 100 maps and records up to 10 hours of datalogs

What’s Included

Accessport V3 with TCM Flashing (AP3-NIS-006)
Big SF Intake System (7C1150)
High Flow Fuel Pump Kit (3C1450)

CAN Gateway Harness and Bracket Kit (3C16RL)
CAN Gateway Flex Fuel Kit (3C1700)

Applications

Nissan GT-R: R35 | 2009-2014 | USDM
Nissan GT-R: R35 | 2008-2013 | International markets (JDM 2008-2013; ADM, East Asia, EDM, Gulf Spec and South Africa 2009-2013)
Nissan GT-R Vspec: R35 | 2009-2010 | International markets (Vspec JDM and EDM 2009-2010, Gulf Spec 2010; Vspec Race JDM 2009-2010 and EDM 2009)

Notes

Not legal for sale or use in California on any emission controlled motor vehicle; CARB testing is pending
Ethanol blends require a flex fuel enabled calibration, either a COBB map or a custom tune
Use only COBB Gateway ethanol sensors with the Gateway so the ECU receives correct ethanol data

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
