COBB Tuning Carbon Redline Intake System for VA Subaru WRX / WRX STi [725350]

The Redline carbon fiber intake, approved for all 50 states, flawlessly combines performance and visual appeal to create the ultimate intake system for the 2015-2021 WRX STI. Crafted from 2×2 twill carbon fiber and coated with a high-quality glossy clear finish, this intake system’s presence in the engine bay is eye-catching and leaves a lasting impression.

Construction

The main airbox is constructed of multiple layers of 2×2 twill carbon fiber sheets for a proper carbon intake through and through. A high-quality gloss clear finish provides fade resistance from heat and UV light. A bespoke black Redline badge sits at the front of the integrated intake ducting. Air is filtered through a 35% larger (compared to the standard SF Intake) pre-oiled filter and routed to the MAF housing, bolted to the airbox by a black anodized billet aluminum adapter. For a sleek install, the wire-reinforced black silicone coupler is sealed on either end with black anodized clamps. A second billet plate can be removed from the airbox’s fender side to increase the system’s airflow and audible intake sounds.

Velocity Stack MAF Housing

This intake system utilizes several unique features to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence. A custom conical air-filter element, CFD-designed velocity stack, and remarkable air flow straightener grid are designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the mass air flow sensor for precise readings. The one-piece high-temperature plastic composite design saves weight and reduces heat transfer.

Installation

The installation process for the redline intake is straightforward, especially given its integrated airbox and scoop. Following the provided comprehensive instructions, users can easily install the included brackets, allowing the entire assembly to be fitted in just a few minutes. Once the initial installation is complete, maintaining and servicing the intake air filter is equally uncomplicated.

Calibration

The redline carbon fiber intake is compatible with existing COBB off the shelf maps that support the standard SF intake. For 2015-2021 STIs, that includes Stage 1+SF and Stage 3 OTS maps.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
