However, as modifications accumulate and power increases, airflow can surpass the MAF sensor’s capacity, leading to inaccurate air mass measurements and consequently improper fuel delivery by the ECU. The big SF intake addresses this issue by enlarging the inner diameter of the intake tubing, effectively expanding the intake cross-section and enabling the MAF sensor to detect lower readings for the same volume of air intake. This adjustment provides the sensor with the necessary capacity to accurately measure airflow levels exceeding those intended for the stock system. Leveraging the big SF intake, COBB tuning has facilitated power builds exceeding 600 horsepower and torque at the wheels, marking a remarkable 40% enhancement over stock GT-R configurations
