Will the Accessport V3 for 95B models fit a 2020 Macan S?

No. The confirmed application list for this part number ends with the 2018 model year. COBB sells a separate Accessport, part AP3-POR-014, for the 2019 and later Macan S, GTS and Turbo, so check the model year on the registration before ordering this one.

Is it legal to use in California?

Yes. COBB lists six CARB Executive Order numbers for this part: D-660-70, D-660-88, D-660-151, D-660-91, D-660-224 and D-660-267. That allows sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when the Accessport V3 for 95B Macans is used as the COBB application guide directs.

Do I need a shop to install it?

No. COBB includes everything needed for installation, and the on-screen instructions identify the exact vehicle and show which maps are available for it before anything is flashed. COBB also offers AP Manager, free software for PC or Mac, for updating the device, managing maps and downloading recorded logs.

Can the Macan be returned to stock later?

Yes. The main menu has an uninstall option that reverts the ECU to exactly the state it was in before the Accessport was installed. COBB warns against installing the device over anything other than factory or COBB software, so a Macan with another tune should be returned to stock first.

Which Macan versions are supported?

COBB confirms the 2015 to 2018 Macan S and Macan Turbo, plus the base Macan, Macan GTS and Macan Turbo with Performance Package for 2017 and 2018. Every vehicle on the list is a PDK model. Models from 2019 onward are not covered by this part number.

Description

COBB Tuning Accessport V3 for 95B Porsche Macan (2015-2018)

COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3 for 95B Macan models covers the first run of Porsche’s compact SUV from 2015 to 2018: the S and Turbo from launch, then the base Macan, GTS and Turbo with Performance Package from 2017. COBB lists six CARB Executive Orders for this part number, so it can go on an emissions-controlled Macan registered in any state. It suits an owner who wants more response from the factory engine and a proper set of gauges while keeping the option to put the ECU back to stock. A 2019 or later Macan is a different application and needs a different Accessport.

Tuning and Support

Every performance map COBB offers for these vehicles arrives pre-loaded, and with room for 100 calibrations the Accessport V3 for 95B Macans can carry a custom file from a COBB tuner alongside the Off The Shelf maps, selectable in a few presses. COBB writes those Off The Shelf maps to follow most bolt-on modifications. When the SUV goes back to a dealer or changes hands, the uninstall routine restores the original ECU programming exactly as it was.

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
