Capristo’s valved exhaust system balances aggression and civility, producing a forceful note under acceleration while remaining restrained in city driving. Vacuum-actuated flaps respond to driving conditions and driver input: at low engine speeds and during cruising they stay closed for a deeper tone, and at wide-open throttle they open to unleash the engine’s full character.

CES3 Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed with specific backpressure settings to control when the exhaust valves open. This provides precise customization of the exhaust system to match the driver’s preferences and tolerance.

Engineering

• Capristo Exhaust systems undergo engineering and production processes employing cutting-edge techniques such as advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending / milling at their facility located in Germany. Crafted from premium T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, every system is meticulously hand polished to achieve a mirror finish. Through thorough investigation, the selection of this particular alloy was determined based on its exceptional sonic resonance characteristics, lightweight nature, and robust durability, closely resembling the properties of Inconel, a material commonly utilized in Formula 1.
