The Capristo Valved Exhaust System for the Ferrari F40 epitomizes the fusion of performance and aesthetics, offering an enhancement that is both audible and visually striking. Advanced Engineering

• Engineered and manufactured using advanced techniques such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending / milling at their factory in Germany. Each system is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and is hand polished to achieve a mirror finish. After comprehensive research, this specific alloy was selected for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability, making it comparable to Inconel, which is used in Formula 1.

Valve System

• The brand new T309SS system for the iconic F40 was designed to meet a set of rigorous specifications for the project. A bespoke valved programmable configuration was developed to offer a system that delivers a quieter exhaust tone than the serial / OEM when the valves are closed, and a louder, more aggressive / sporting exhaust tone when the valves are open. The position of the valves is fully programmable and vacuum actuated by the Capristo CES3 control module, as the serial F40 does not include valves.
