Valve System

• The ability to produce varied exhaust notes is achieved through the integration of vacuum-actuated valve flaps. These valves, capable of alternating between open and closed positions, adapt to both driving conditions and driver input. When the engine runs at lower speeds or is in cruising mode, the valves maintain a closed position, allowing for a richer and deeper exhaust sound. Conversely, during instances when the throttle is fully engaged, the valves open up, releasing the comprehensive range of the engine’s acoustics.

Engineering Excellence

• The development of Capristo exhaust systems represents a synthesis of meticulous craftsmanship and avant-garde technologies such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Modeling, and CNC machining, carried out in their esteemed German workshop. Each element is accurately sculpted from elite T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and manually polished to attain a radiant finish. This alloy was selected for its supreme acoustic transparency, advantages in weight mitigation, and enduring resilience—characteristics commonly related to the Inconel components encountered in elite Formula 1 competitions.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust Valves Remain Open
• The Cruise and Sport modes in the vehicle can be individually adjusted to set distinct backpressure boundaries, which, in turn, decide the activation instances of the exhaust valves. This grants precise control over the exhaust system, allowing alterations to suit the driver’s unique preferences and endurance.
