Engineering

This dual character is achieved through precision-engineered, vacuum-actuated valve flaps that respond to both driving conditions and driver input. During light load and cruising, the valves remain closed, producing a deep, refined tone; under wide-open throttle, the valves open fully to unleash the engine’s full acoustic potential. Valve operation is managed via the factory backpressure-controlled OEM actuators. Every Capristo system is developed and produced in-house in Germany, using advanced 3D laser-scanning, CAD modeling, digital prototyping, and CNC bending / milling. Constructed from high-grade T309 stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish, each system is designed for optimal sonic resonance, reduced weight, and exceptional durability — closely matching the characteristics of Inconel used in Formula 1.
