Valve Dynamics

• The nuanced sound range of the system is largely attributed to its vacuum-actuated valve flaps. Engineered to adapt seamlessly across varied driving conditions and based on driver inputs, these flaps typically remain shut during leisurely engine phases or cruising, exuding a deep exhaust harmony. However, when the throttle deepens, the valves instantaneously expand, amplifying the engine’s profound sonic character.

Engineering

• Capristo Exhaust systems exemplify engineering elegance, melding groundbreaking techniques such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital visualization, and CNC operations at their German headquarters. Each system is masterfully carved from the superior T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and is subject to detailed hand-polishing, yielding a mirror-like glow. After extensive investigation, they settled on this specific alloy, celebrated for its sound clarity, feather-light properties, and resilience—qualities evocative of the Inconel used in the realm of Formula 1 racing.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust Valves Remain Open
• The Cruise and Sport modes on the car can be individually tailored to allow specific backpressure margins, determining when the exhaust valves will be triggered. This offers meticulous control over the exhaust based on personal preferences and resilience of the driver
