Valve Mechanics

• The acclaimed Capristo Valved Exhaust System offers a dual experience, capable of generating an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving. This functionality is achieved through vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close in response to driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds and during cruising, the valves remain closed, resulting in a deeper exhaust note. However, at wide-open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full symphony of the engine.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• The vehicle’s Cruise and Sport modes can be independently configured to establish specific backpressure limits, which subsequently determine the activation times of the exhaust valves. This provides exact control over the exhaust system, enabling modifications to accommodate the driver’s distinct preferences and resilience.
