The exhaust system is constructed from T309 1.4828 stainless steel. The distinguished Capristo Valved Exhaust System stands out by delivering a dual experience: a powerful exhaust tone during acceleration and a more tempered sound for urban commutes. Its distinct feature relies on vacuum-actuated valve flaps that adjust based on the vehicle’s driving conditions and the driver’s commands. At relaxed engine speeds or during cruise sessions, the valves remain closed, resonating a richer exhaust tone. However, with wide-open throttle, they swing open, unveiling the engine’s full acoustic depth.

Each Capristo Exhaust system undergoes precision engineering and manufacturing, harnessing state-of-the-art methods such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at their German facility. They employ high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel for each system, finishing it with a hand-polished reflective sheen. After rigorous investigation, this particular alloy was selected for its sound-enhancing attributes, lightweight nature, and robustness, mirroring the characteristics of the F1-used Inconel.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust Valves Remain Open
• The Cruise and Sport modes on the car can be individually tailored to allow specific backpressure margins, determining when the exhaust valves will be triggered. This offers meticulous control over the exhaust based on personal preferences and resilience of the driver.
