The Capristo ECE Valved Exhaust System with CES3, Mid-Silencer Spare Pipes, and Stainless Tips is engineered to elevate both the performance and presence of the BMW M2. CES3 Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 control module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• Both Cruise and Sport modes can be individually programmed with specific backpressure settings to control when the exhaust valves open. This provides precise customization of the exhaust system to match the driver’s preferences and tolerance.

Engineering

• Capristo exhaust systems are developed and manufactured using advanced methods such as 3D laser scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending/milling at their German facility. Constructed from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, each system is carefully hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was chosen after extensive research for its outstanding sonic resonance qualities, lightweight construction, and exceptional durability — closely mirroring the properties of Inconel, a material widely used in Formula 1.
