Engineered for the 2017+ facelift W222 S 560 and S 63 AMG, the Capristo CES3 Valved Exhaust with Mid-Pipes elevates both performance and tone with freer flow and a richer, more assertive soundtrack when desired. The included CES3 control module offers precise, on-the-fly management of the valve system — letting drivers switch between refined comfort and engaging presence to suit the moment. Built from premium T309 stainless steel, the hand-finished system delivers exceptional heat resistance and long-term durability while integrating cleanly with the factory layout.

CES-3 Control Module

The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
- Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
- Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
- Open: Exhaust valves remain open
The vehicle’s Cruise and Sport modes can be independently configured to establish specific backpressure limits, which subsequently determine the activation times of the exhaust valves. This provides exact control over the exhaust system, enabling modifications to accommodate the driver’s distinct preferences and resilience.

Premium Construction

Capristo designs and builds its exhaust systems in Germany using advanced 3D laser scanning, CAD development, digital prototyping, and CNC bending / milling for precise fit and performance. Each unit is crafted from high-grade T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and hand-polished to a mirror finish. After extensive testing, T309 was selected for its resonant acoustics, low mass, and durability — qualities comparable to Inconel as used in Formula 1.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
