Capristo’s ECE Valved Triple Tip Mufflers for the W463A Mercedes-Benz G 500 and G 550 elevate the vehicle’s soundtrack while preserving daily refinement. The Valvetronic system modulates volume and tone on demand — subtle while cruising, assertive under throttle—while the signature triple-tip outlets sharpen the rear aesthetic. Constructed from T309 stainless steel for superior heat resistance and longevity, each assembly is engineered for a precise, bolt-on fit to the W463A platform.

Valve System

This capability is enabled by vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close in response to driving conditions and driver input. At modest engine speeds or during steady cruising, the valves remain closed to produce a deeper, more subdued exhaust note. Under heavy throttle, the valves open to unleash the engine’s full acoustic range.

Craftmanship

The fabrication of Capristo exhaust systems combines intricate artistry and advanced technologies such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Modeling, and CNC machining, executed within their distinguished German workshop. CES-3 Control Module

The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
- Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
- Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
- Open: Exhaust valves remain open
The Cruise and Sport modes in the vehicle can be individually adjusted to set distinct backpressure boundaries, which, in turn, decide the activation instances of the exhaust valves. This grants precise control over the exhaust system, allowing alterations to suit the driver’s unique preferences and endurance.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
