The Brixton Forged Magnesium+ Series was developed around a single engineering priority; get the weight of the wheel as low as the material science allows without giving up structural integrity or ride quality. Each wheel is a 1-piece monoblock forged from AZ80 magnesium alloy and treated with a micro-arc oxidation coating for corrosion resistance, landing 30% lighter than forged aluminum by volume and starting from 15.2lbs (6.9kg). On a sports car or supercar where unsprung weight has a direct relationship with how the car accelerates, brakes, and handles, that reduction is felt in the steering and through the chassis before it registers anywhere else. AZ80 magnesium carries 12% greater specific strength than aluminum alongside a significantly higher dampening capacity, which means the wheel holds up to hard use while keeping the ride quality composed rather than harsh.

• Ultra-Lightweight Magnesium: The Magnesium+ Series starts at 15.6lbs (7.2kg) in a 20×9 fitment and runs 30% lighter than aluminum across equivalent sizes, with magnesium’s finer hexagonal grain structure and lower material density doing the work at a fundamental level rather than through design tricks. The reduction in unsprung mass has a direct and measurable effect on cornering response, braking feel, and acceleration on platforms that are built to respond to those changes.
  Manufacturing & Applications: Every Magnesium+ wheel is forged from high-grade AZ80 magnesium alloy, CNC milled for dimensional precision, and heat treated to reach the material hardness that track use demands over time. An anti-oxidation coating protects the surface across the full service life of the wheel, and every unit passes through structural and performance testing before it reaches production. The series spans 18 to 21 inches across a range of designs developed specifically around the fitment demands of sports cars and supercars.
  Diverse Design & Finish Selection: Through-cut spokes run consistently across the Magnesium+ lineup, stripping mass from areas where removal doesn’t affect structural performance while giving each design a visual identity that is a direct reflection of the engineering behind it. Lower rotational mass sharpens how the car accelerates and brakes, and the reduction in unsprung weight brings cornering stability and handling precision that show up in driving feel well before they appear on a data log.
  Bead Seat Knurling: Bead-seat knurling is standard on every Magnesium+ wheel, and the reasoning is straightforward on a wheel designed for track use. The knurled surface at the bead seat keeps the tire bead locked against the rim under the lateral loads that come with high-speed cornering and hard acceleration, taking tire slip off the table in the conditions where it would have the most serious consequences.

Text & Groove Fill Options

• Brixton’s Text and Groove Fill program gives buyers a way to introduce color into specific design details that would otherwise read as part of the base finish. Epoxy accents can be placed on the Brixton logo, wheel name, series name, and design-specific grooves or spokes, with up to 3 fill instances per wheel depending on the design. Standard colors are Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow, with all other colors available on request.

There are no “off the shelf” Brixton wheels and as such, a lead time of a few weeks is to be expected once your spec has been finalized.
