Rigidness and hold that rival a full bucket seat: The GIAS series, now redesigned after 16 years, stands as BRIDE’s flagship model among reclining sport seats. Featuring “deep shoulder & high side support,” it serves as the ultimate super reclining bucket seat, combining high rigidity, durability, hold, and comfort.
The GIAS Series
Newly Designed Steel Frame & Monocoque Shell: Built upon the STRADIA III model, the monocoque shell integrates a newly designed high-rigidity steel frame, significantly enhancing rigidity and sturdiness compared to the previous GIAS II model. Frame tensile strength has increased by 200%, with backrest sturdiness up 15% and overall sturdiness by 40%.
The Newly Developed Multi-Level Reclining Mechanism: Prioritizing ease of use, the new reclining mechanism greatly reduces backlash compared to prior models. The backrest angle can be adjusted smoothly with a single lever motion, making it especially user-friendly in tight vehicle spaces. By enhancing convenience, durability, and compactness, this design achieves a blend of high hold and comfort.
Belt Holes for Circuit Racing: This model includes large FHR system-compatible belt holes in the backrest and is newly equipped with belt holes on the shell side, compatible with a 6-point harness. Reduced belt hole size compared to the STRADIA III model limits unnecessary belt movement, promoting safer circuit driving.
Low Positioning Enabled by the LOW MAX System: Utilizing BRIDE’s patented LOW MAX system, the GIAS series offers low positioning even in compact seat spaces. The system also enables precise alignment of the steering and seat centers. (Compatibility may vary by vehicle.)
The GIAS III KING
Collaboration model with Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya: The GIAS III KING super semi-bucket seat combines strength with a precise reclining mechanism. Enhanced seat rigidity and durability over the previous GIAS II model are achieved through a newly designed bone frame and monocoque shell crafted using 3D-CAD. A refined reclining mechanism and easy-to-operate lever, developed for simplicity, durability, and multi-angle adjustments, ensure a solid hold and comfort with minimal backlash. Additionally, the seat includes belt holes for 6-point harnesses on the back, while high-density urethane foam cushions provide optimal seat and thigh support. The GIAS III is the ultimate street-ready reclining bucket seat, blending the rigidity and hold necessary for sport driving with the convenience and comfort for everyday use. GIAS III KING offers two shell options: FRP Silver Shell and Carbon Shell, with standard-type cushioning.
Accented with Gold Embroidery: The KING series features the logo of renowned drift expert and former racing driver Keiichi Tsuchiya, with embroidered details like his nickname “KING” and “Craftsman” on the backrest and headrest.
High Hold-Ability, Suitable for Circuit Driving: Deep shoulder support and knee support offer high holding performance and comfort, ideal for both street and circuit driving. The seat also includes a 6-point seat belt-compatible belt hole on the seat surface.

About BRIDE
“For safety. Made using only Made in Japan.” BRIDE produces all its seats and seat rail products, which are closest to the driver and also protect the driver’s body in the case of an accident, domestically in Japan. BRIDE’s seats are ASEA-approved products which have cleared the standards of ASEA, the industry organization whose members comprise motorsports companies and related tuning parts manufacture and sales companies which represent Japan, and are models which conform to vehicle inspections and have cleared rigorous safety benchmarks. The safety benchmark comprises 6 items–“seat back rear surface crash test”, “head restraint forward crash test”, “head restraint static test”, “seat and seat mounting test”, “seat belt mounting test”, and “flame resistance test”–in which a great amount of force is applied to the seats assuming an accident to check whether the seats are damaged and whether they can be maintained for the regulated time, and to confirm the safety of the seats.
Also, BRIDE’s seats are the first seats produced in Japan to be licensed by FIA, and they provide 9 models which can be used in international races. In order to maintain and improve product quality to pass safety benchmarks and strict FIA strength tests, BRIDE conducts thorough management of its manufacturing process. In order to provide high quality seats, craftsmen with the highly refined skills to manufacture by hand, materials developed with advanced technology such as shells and cloth, and the logistics to manufacture and ship to the market with stability are all essential. In order to strictly control and maintain seat quality, they only use Made in Japan. And at BRIDE, they also feel that the words “Made in Japan” indicate a trust developed by Japan over many years and a quality recognized around the world. These words show the face of a manufacturer, and imply Japan’s unique fine skills, abundant creative power, and commitment to refined hand-made technology and sensitivity. Always keeping in mind the racing scene where lives are on the line, “Made in Japan” is an essential commitment for BRIDE in its production of safe and high quality seats.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
