GT-RR Front Bumper with DRL for CBA / DBA-R35 Nissan GT-R

This front bumper is specifically designed to facilitate the upgrade to the DBA front end while retaining compatibility with front diffusers from earlier CBA-R35 GT-R models (up to the 2011 US model year). Its revised shape enables direct fitment of the OEM Nissan diffuser or any aftermarket diffuser made for CBA-R35 GT-Rs. It mounts seamlessly to both CBA and DBA chassis, allowing DBA-R35 owners to run a wide range of popular aftermarket front diffusers. Handcrafted in the USA using hand-laid fiberglass, the bumper is finished in matte black.

Applications

Nissan GT-R: CBA-R35, DBA-R35 (2008-2016)

Notes

For all CBA-R35 owners, the Nissan OEM LED driving lights will be necessary to complete this conversion
For all DBA-R35 owners, you may swap your factory Nissan mesh grills, upper grill, and LED DRLs into this bumper so that other parts need not be purchased
For installation on DBA-R35s, the stock hardware and grills from the stock bumper may be installed with this bumper and no additional parts should be needed for installation
For installation on CBA-R35s (JDM / USDM):
- You will need a DBA-R35 grille
- The brackets for the side winkers detach from your old bumper and swap on to the new bumper
- The front tow hook cover will fit and can be taken from your previous bumper
- You will need to additionally purchase the Nissan OEM LED DRLs
- Your body shop will need to arrange for wiring in the LEDs. Wiring is pre-built into DBA-R35s but if you have a CBA-R35 you will need to make your own wiring much like installing a set of fog lights in any car.
- The GT-R front emblem can be used from earlier model GT-Rs without any problem
- The oil cooler duct differs slightly between the older and newer GT-R models. While the bumper will fit with the older-style duct, it may result in a small, barely visible gap behind the bumper. For those seeking a perfect OEM-level fit between the oil cooler duct and the bumper, GT-RR offers a Nissan-spec OEM oil cooler duct as a solution. This bumper was designed with the intention of using only genuine Nissan components — including grilles, ducts, and hardware — and when installed with all OEM parts, GT-RR is confident in the overall fit and finish.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
