How much weight does the Boost Logic Titanium Exhaust System for A90 save?

Boost Logic quotes the complete Titanium Exhaust System for A90 Supra, including the mid pipe, at 20.75 lb. That is a saving of 33.85 lb over the stock exhaust and Y-pipe, a large reduction at the rear of the car. The shipping box weighs more because of packaging, so freight weight on a quote will be higher.

What does the Valved option do?

The Valved option adds $500 and uses the OEM valves in the Boost Logic system. With the exhaust button off the valves stay closed for quieter normal driving, and pressing the button opens them so the exhaust is fully open through the rev range. The No Valves option leaves the system without that switchable control.

How does the Quad Pipe Muffler sound?

Boost Logic designed the Formula Series Quad Pipe Muffler to give the B58 a throatier, resonated tone in the lower part of the rev range and a higher-pitched sound at high revs than the engine normally makes. Boost Logic describes the result as an exotic car sound, with the refinement of a resonated unit but without its restriction.

What is included with the exhaust?

The system includes a 3.5 inch titanium mid pipe, the dual 3 inch titanium cat-back exhaust with the Quad Pipe Muffler, fully adjustable titanium slash cut tips and the stainless steel clamps and hardware needed for installation. Downpipes are a separate purchase, and Boost Logic sells a stainless downpipe for the B58 Supra.

What is the difference between the Blued and F16 Style tips?

Both tip styles cost the same. Blued tips carry the heat-tinted blue titanium finish shown in the Boost Logic photos of this system. Boost Logic does not describe the F16 Style tip in detail on its product page, so ask Bulletproof Automotive for a photo before ordering if the tip appearance matters for the build.

Will the exhaust support more power later?

Yes. Boost Logic states that the unrestrictive design of the Quad Muffler will easily support the increase in horsepower from future engine modifications. It publishes no dyno figure for the exhaust on its own, so any gain depends on the rest of the build and on the tune running on the car.

Boost Logic’s Titanium Exhaust System for A90 / A91 Toyota GR Supra is a full titanium midpipe and cat-back system for the B58 that weighs 20.75 lb complete, which Boost Logic puts at a 33.85 lb saving over the stock exhaust and Y-pipe. Its Formula Series Quad Pipe Muffler gives the B58 a throatier, resonated tone low in the rev range and a higher-pitched note up top, without the restriction of a conventional resonated muffler. With the Valved option the OEM valves stay closed with the exhaust button off and open on demand, which suits a daily-driven Supra that also sees hard use.

Design and Performance

The Quad Pipe Muffler is the heart of the system. Its quad tune design adds a resonated character in the lower rev range and lets the B58 reach a higher pitch at high rpm than the factory exhaust allows, and Boost Logic says the unrestrictive layout will support power increases from future engine modifications. The system is precision TIG welded from titanium throughout, with proper merge collectors for flow and fully adjustable slash cut tips.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
