How much power does the Boost Logic 750x Turbo Kit for R35 make?

Boost Logic recorded 730 wheel horsepower at 20 psi on 93 octane pump fuel with the 750x Turbo Kit for R35 on a completely stock engine and drivetrain, with more than 5 degrees of timing removed to protect the stock rods. On E85 with a stock engine it made 800 wheel horsepower, and Boost Logic says more is possible on a built engine.

What does the core option mean?

The 750x turbos are built on factory turbo cores. Choosing Exchange Factory Cores means you ship your old cores to Boost Logic and pay the base price. Choosing Keep Factory Cores adds the core fee Boost Logic charges when no cores are returned, so you keep your original turbos. The price shown for each variation already reflects that choice.

Do I need a built engine?

No. Boost Logic developed and tested the 750x on a bone stock engine and drivetrain, and it describes the kit as a bolt on package. Its pump gas result used conservative timing to preserve the stock rods. A built engine is needed only to push past the stock engine figures, which Boost Logic says can exceed 800 wheel horsepower.

What is included in the kit?

The kit includes the Boost Logic custom spec turbochargers, Boost Logic cast inlet pipes and billet actuators. No intercooler pipe changes are needed. The kit requires the stock core turbo manifolds, and the inlet pipes are offered raw or with a wrinkle black coating, chosen along with the core option at checkout.

Does the kit need a tune?

Yes. Boost Logic quotes its figures on tuning matched to the kit, and new turbochargers on the VR38DETT need calibration for boost, fueling and timing. Boost Logic used conservative tuning on its stock engine test car, so plan the calibration with your tuner and decide between 93 octane and E85 before installation.

How does the 750x compare to the 900x and 1000x kits?

The 750x is the bolt on option that keeps the factory cores. Boost Logic positions the BLGTR 900x for stock engine cars with a billet compressor wheel custom turbo and no cores required, and builds the 1000x as the next step up. Choose by power goal, fuel and whether the engine is stock or built.

Description

Boost Logic 750x Turbo Kit for R35 Nissan GT-R

Boost Logic’s 750x Turbo Kit for R35 Nissan GT-R is the Gen 2 version of its bolt-on turbo upgrade, pairing custom-spec turbochargers with Boost Logic cast inlet pipes and billet actuators. Each turbo keeps the factory core but runs a custom exhaust wheel and compressor wheel chosen for the GT-R, which Boost Logic credits for spool that matches or beats a stock turbo car on E85. On a bone-stock engine and drivetrain Boost Logic recorded 730 whp at 20 psi on 93 octane with timing pulled to protect the stock rods, and 800 whp on E85. It suits an owner who wants a big step in power without building the engine.

Design and Performance

Because the kit retains the stock cores and works with the stock core turbo manifolds, it installs as a bolt-on and needs no intercooler pipe changes. Boost Logic says the 750x widens the powerband over stock turbos, keeps torque available across the rev range for everyday driving and holds power better near the top end. Boost Logic treats its pump gas result as conservative, since it was set with more than 5 degrees of timing removed, and says 800-plus whp is no issue on a built engine.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
