• Since 1996, BBS has perfected the use of flow-forming technology to improve wheel strength and performance. This process uses three hydraulic rollers to apply intense pressure while the wheel rotates at high temperatures, shaping the inner rim. By modifying the cast rim’s mechanical structure, flow forming enhances strength, stiffness, and impact resistance while achieving an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio. This innovative technique enables BBS to produce high-performance wheels with many of the benefits of forged designs, but at a more cost-effective price point.
