• BBS forged wheels begin as billets of 6000-series aluminum or specialized magnesium alloy and are shaped through a proprietary multi-stage die-forging process applying up to 18 million pounds of pressure. BBS was founded in 1970 by Heinrich Baumgartner and Klaus Brand in Schiltach, Germany. The company was established by amateur racers seeking performance gains on the track.
