The BBI Street Cup Porsche 996 & 997 Street Cup Harness Bar is characterized by its two-piece design and high-strength seamless tubing, ensuring an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. This design approach allows the bar to be mounted to the front seat belt mounts and the rear strut towers, maintaining compatibility with the factory Bose subwoofer. For enhanced strength and rigidity, “X” braces are incorporated into both the front and rear sections of the bar, and each joint is meticulously TIG welded by hand. The bar is installed using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC-turned and milled for precision, allowing for a bolt-in installation. This method eliminates the need for the traditional slip fit tubes and the visually unappealing through-bolt and nut.

Installation Guidelines and Recommendations

• For the optimal integration of the BBI StreetCup Harness Bar into a Porsche, detailed Installation Instructions are provided. The design is intended for bolt-in installation, but given the detailed nature of the process, professional installation is highly recommended to ensure maximum safety and precise fitment.

• Made from high-strength seamless tubing (DOM) (1.5” x .120” main hoop & 1.5” x 0.95” rear hoops)
•  Main hoop contours entire arch of the roof with an even 3/16 inch gap
• TIG welded and utilizes “X” braces on both front and rear sections
• Mounts to front seatbelt mounts and rear strut towers
• Utilizes laser cut mounting plates and inner diameter tube clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise and seamless fit
• Designed to work with stock or any aftermarket seats on the market
• Can be used with stock seatbelts or 6-point harnesses for track use
• Designed to work with wrap-around style harnesses while optional eyelet bolt provisions are available for clip-in harnesses

• Finished in satin black powder coat. Other optional colors available
