AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust w/ Diamond Black Tip for GV / VA Subaru Impreza WRX & WRX STI

Built from scratch for the EJ25, the AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust with Diamond Black Tip is made specifically for the GV and VA Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI, not carried over from the VA WRX or any other platform. It runs a full 3″ straight-through design and uses AWE’s patented 180 Technology® to deliver the signature BOXER® rumble without cabin drone or rasp, cracking on shifts and staying clean through the entire RPM range. The 102mm slash-cut tip is double-walled to hold its finish under hard use and carries the engraved AWE logo. Every system is manufactured in-house at AWE’s Pennsylvania facility using US-sourced .065″-wall T304L stainless steel, works alongside all factory emissions equipment, and includes AWE’s Perfect Fitment Guarantee, No CEL Guarantee, and Lifetime Warranty. If the sound ever calls for something more aggressive, AWE’s Conversion Kit makes switching to the Track Edition straightforward, no new system required.

Touring Edition Exhaust

• The Touring Edition Exhaust uses a 3” T304L stainless steel downpipe-back layout to deliver a straight-through flow with a deep, controlled exhaust note and no highway drone. It includes an integrated front pipe, a custom midpipe resonator, and AWE’s 180 Technology® to cancel unwanted frequencies, producing a full, rasp-free K20 tone that responds strongly under boost yet stays quiet and composed at cruising speeds. Installation maintains factory alignment and is supported by AWE’s No CEL and Perfect Fitment guarantees. Within the 180 Technology resonator, exhaust gases are routed through precisely positioned ports into reflection chambers where sound waves bounce and are timed to rejoin the main flow 180 degrees out of phase, eliminating low-frequency resonance while preserving unrestricted performance.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE’s 180 Technology® directs exhaust gases through a resonator with carefully placed ports leading into reflection chambers. The chambers are precisely tuned for each vehicle’s acoustics, allowing reflected waves to rejoin the main stream 180 degrees out of phase, canceling drone-inducing frequencies. Each resonator is engineered for the specific vehicle rather than using a generic design, ensuring consistent tone, refined sound quality, and the elimination of unwanted resonance across all 180 Technology® systems.
