Front Pipes

• Both the Touring and Track Edition Exhausts feature a comprehensive 3” front pipe, uniquely engineered with a specialized flange and gasket to maintain consistent diameter from inlet to outlet. This front pipe is seamlessly incorporated into the exhausts’ design. It’s important to note that AWE exhausts are specifically crafted to align only with their own system and are not intended to be compatible with front pipes from other aftermarket brands.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE’s 180 Technology® operates in the following manner: Exhaust gases leaving the engine flow into a resonator equipped with AWE’s 180 Technology®, where they pass through ports placed in specific locations, leading into reflection chambers
• Inside these chambers, sound waves from the exhaust gases are reflected off the walls. AWE’s acoustic engineers tailor the size and placement of these ports and chambers to meet the sound requirements of each specific vehicle. By manipulating these critical elements, they precisely control the timing of the sound waves’ exit from the chambers. The carefully timed reintegration of these reflected sound waves with the main exhaust flow produces a 180-degree out-of-phase sound wave that neutralizes unwanted frequencies.
