The AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust for the B8.5 Audi RS5 is engineered, developed, tested, and hand-built entirely in-house at AWE, crafted from mandrel-bent 2.5″ T304 stainless steel with an X-pipe design for enhanced exhaust scavenging. AWE’s 180 Technology keeps drone out of the cabin while bringing out an aggressive, raw V8 rumble that’s still manageable for daily driving. The system integrates seamlessly into the stock bumper cutouts and delivers dyno-proven max gains of 8hp and 16ft-lb of torque at the crank.

Touring Edition Exhaust

• The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the RS5 is built for drivers who want more presence on the road. It brings out an aggressive, raw V8 rumble that’s still manageable for daily driving, but noticeable enough that people will hear you before they see you. The Track Edition builds on that with AWE’s patented drone-canceling 180 Technology and works with the stock downpipes to deliver a true, full V8 tone.

180 Technology

• AWE acoustic engineers size and position each port and chamber based on the sound targets for that specific vehicle. Sound waves travel with the exhaust gases, bounce off the reflection chamber walls, and return to the main flow at a point determined by those dimensions. When the timing is right, the returning wave runs 180 degrees out of phase with the unwanted frequencies, and they cancel out before causing any issues in the cabin.
