For those who want more volume, a non-resonated downpipe is available separately.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE acoustic engineers set the size and placement of each port and chamber based on the sound targets for that specific vehicle. Sound waves ride along with the exhaust gases and bounce off the reflection chamber walls, and those dimensions control exactly when the waves exit and feed back into the main flow. Getting that timing right is what generates a sound wave running 180 degrees out of phase with the unwanted frequencies, canceling them out before they become a problem.
