• AWE Tuning’s SwitchPath exhaust delivers a distinctive tone in every valve position, combining straight-through mufflers with a precisely engineered X-pipe. With the valves closed, the sound is bold and controlled; opening them produces a more aggressive, high-revving flat-plane V8 character. It stays composed at cruising speeds but opens up under full throttle, all while remaining fully compatible with high-flow pipes and using mufflers tuned to manage harsh frequencies.

Stealth shielding

• AWE Tuning equips the Z06 with two machined aluminum heat shields that attach directly to the factory bumper mounts, keeping the exhaust visible through the mesh while protecting the bumper’s interior. Unlike wrap-style solutions that can trap moisture and risk component damage, this bolt-on design offers durable, long-lasting thermal protection.
