Increased Performance

• The AWE ColdFront Intercooler cores measure 523 cubic inches, 17% larger than the 991’s stock 448 cubic inches. Where the stock cores fall short, AWE’s high-flow bar and plate design, built to AWE’s own charge row and fin count specs, delivers 20% lower air temperatures and 50% better pressure resistance through the cores. That cooler, freer-flowing charge is what allowed the 991 Turbo S to hit dyno-verified max gains of 26 hp and 21 ft-lb of torque at the crank when paired with the AWE 991 Turbo Performance Exhaust, S-FLO Carbon Intake, and G.I.A.C Stage 2 software; good enough for nearly a full second off 60-130mph acceleration times.

More Carbon

• AWE designed the largest cores that would fit inside the 991TT rear fenders, and at that size, the OEM ducts no longer work. Purpose-built ducts are needed to pull fresh, cooler air into the cores, which is where the AWE Carbon Fiber ducts come in. They bolt straight in and mate cleanly with the ColdFront Intercooler Kit, no trimming or cutting required, and are covered by the AWE Fitment Guarantee.

Hardware

• The AWE ColdFront Intercooler Kit for the Porsche 991TT pairs its core and end tank design with thick-wall 6-ply silicone hoses that use gentle curves to handle pressure without bursting. Stainless steel T-bolt clamps secure the hoses to the factory intake and turbos, and a molded lip at the turbo connection replicates the factory locking mechanism for a clean, secure fit. The hoses also use Nomex braiding rather than the more common polyester, adding another level of strength.
