Experience AWE-some Performance

• For those who prefer a rough and lively ride, the AWE Track Edition is the perfect choice. It provides the same finely-crafted, performance-driven engineering of the SwitchPath™ model without the passenger-side valve and driver-side muffler. This leaves the setting in a constant “valve open” state.
• Be warned that this version is highly raucous and might not be to the taste of many. Consequently it cannot be exchanged for sound preference reasons.

Exhaust Tips

• The two styles of AWE SwitchPath and Track Edition exhausts feature 102mm double-walled, slash-cut tips as standard, with a range of color finishes available – chrome silver and diamond black, both stamped with the AWE logo.

Conversion Kits

• This AWE feature simplifies the switch from SwitchPath to Track Edition and back if you pick to modify your volume at a different time. It’s straightforward.

Valve Simulators: Why do you need them?

• Thanks to AWE’s SwitchPath technology, sound perfection comes standard with the S3’s factory valves. For the Track Edition versions, these valves are eliminated, resulting in the ECU storing a ‘soft code’ in the system, which while not harmful, isn’t exactly what most people want. The good news is, the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators can take away this code.
• You can take out all the hassle of dealing with codes caused by taking out exhaust valves by simply plugging in these simple devices instead. Insert them in the existing wiring harness, start the car, and you’re good to go. It’s as easy as that.
• Sold separately, comes as a pair.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
