The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust with Triple Chrome Silver Tips is designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house at AWE in the USA, handcrafted from 3″ CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with .065″ wall thickness sourced domestically. Every edition includes an integrated front pipe, and the system installs as a direct bolt-on with no cutting or modification needed. The Touring Edition uses AWE’s patented 180 Technology® tuned specifically for the L15 engine to keep drone out of the cabin while still delivering a sound worth noticing, and the bespoke stamped stainless steel trident tip merge gives the rear of the car a clean, purposeful look. Max gains come in at 6 hp and 1 ft-lb of torque at the wheels.

Touring Edition Exhaust

• The Touring Edition is a full 3″ downpipe-back exhaust built from T304L stainless steel, with an integrated front pipe and a custom mid pipe resonator working alongside AWE’s patented 180 Technology® to keep things completely drone-free at cruise. Push the L15 under boost and the tone is there; back off on the highway and the cabin stays quiet. It’s a straight-through design that doesn’t make you choose between performance and comfort.

What is 180 Technology?

• Sound waves travel with the exhaust gases and reflect off the chamber walls as they move through the system. AWE’s acoustic engineers determine the size and placement of the ports and chambers based on the sound targets for each specific vehicle, and those dimensions control precisely when the reflected waves feed back into the main exhaust stream. Getting that timing right generates a sound wave that runs 180 degrees out of phase with the problem frequencies, and those frequencies are canceled out before the exhaust ever exits the system.
