AWE’s patented 180 Technology keeps drone out of the cabin while preserving the full B58 tone, and the non-resonated configuration adds a bit more presence compared to the resonated version for drivers who want that extra edge. A stamped stainless steel merge section up front flows the equivalent of dual 3″ off the downpipe, pushing a 65% increase in flow over stock and leaving the setup ready for aftermarket downpipes down the road. From there, the exhaust splits into true dual 3″ piping and finishes with AWE’s patented 180 Technology, keeping drone out of the cabin while holding onto the full-bodied, turbocharged B58 tone throughout.

What is 180 Technology?

AWE acoustic engineers determine the size and placement of each port and chamber based on the sound targets for that specific vehicle. Sound waves travel with the exhaust gases, bounce off the reflection chamber walls, and return to the main flow at a point controlled entirely by those dimensions. That timing is the key; when it lands right, the returning wave runs 180 degrees out of phase with the problem frequencies and cancels them out before they ever leave the system.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
